(More customer reviews)I purchased this kit from another vendor but wanted to discuss/confirm the lack of battery life.I replaced a 9v Bosch (lost the Bosch in someone's attic I suppose) that worked great.Wanted to step up in voltage thinking it would be a good move.The Bosch wouldn't work in cold weather, say below 30, and I'd always used Milwaukee anyhow.
The battery doesn't last me but about two days of light service work, probably half what the Bosch did.The drill works fine, is a little on the large size for the pistol grip.When the battery gets low, it just quits.Doesn't wind down, it just stops.You must use the display charge led's to see what battery life you have.I guess I'm too used to NiCads.
The light is nice, but it's under the gun and I don't see the screw(s) from under the gun, my head's usually above it.It would be nice to have a light on the top and bottom.
